Your observations are so smart and, alas, sad but true. What you say in the paragraph above makes me cringe. How any person can lookThe away from his criminal deeds, or not care about them speaks to everything you’re saying about how true journalism has lost ground. Even sadder to me is the fact that several friends of mine have gone on a news blackout since the election, mostly because the sound of the criminal’s voice and his face have a sickening effect.
