Yes, it is surreal. And it is all too real. I saw that article re: Lauri Carleton's death. And yes we must get louder than hate. I get sick to my stomach sometimes re: homophobia and misogyny and anti-semitism and racism -- not to mention pure stupidity. Another thought-provoking essay.
