What an extraordinary adventure on so many levels -- exposing yourself to a stranger in the first place, and extending your stay to see what he would produce given the extended time. Then to be stunned by the beautiful portrait, only to see him destroy it. And finally your reaction to seeing it years later. Something of a double exposure (metaphorically) comes to mind when I look at the photo posted here.
