I thought the movie was a great . . .even if it started on a sobering note. She is the feisty mother/grandmother in all of us, the one who, as you point out, may be aware of her vulnerabilities but also refuses to be doted on too much or taken advantage of. She wants to be seen for who she is. Gotta love the Tom Cruise inspiration ;-)
