I could easily linger over the lines of this poem. Each image is perfect though there’s something about the ‘feral perfume’ that haunts me. Thank you for sharing this. A small dose of wonderful poetry—especially with its reminder of Anne Porter’s late-in-life bloom—brings a big dose of inspiration.
